Admission Procedure

All applicants will receive information about the application package, which consists of:

Once accepted in the course, students will be provided with

Offer Letter

Student Agreement
(to be signed and returned)

All the rights, responsibilities and terms of enrolment are mentioned in the offer letter and Student Agreement.

Once the student agreement is signed and returned, you will be provided with eCoE (subject to conditions of the offer), along with:

  • Enrolment and program details, key dates, and academic schedules
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OHSC) details
  • Student Orientation Policy and Procedure
  • Orientation program dates and details
  • Student Code of Conduct

Get Your Visa

Once you have accepted the offer and received an eCoE, it is time to get your Visa as soon as possible.

Book Your Flight Tickets

As soon as you have received your visa, book your tickets. It is important to book your tickets while keeping the course start date in mind, as orientation will be useful for new students.

Find A Place To Live

Our Student Handbook has some information on how to find a good accommodation. It is also important to check the public transport which connects to college as it is very important and may change where you want to live.

Plan Your Trip To Airport

Before you travel, it is best advised to arrange or plan your transportation from Airport.

Work Out Your Expenses

Depending on your lifestyle, the accommodation you choose and where may affect your budget.

Pack Your Bags

Finally, make sure you have all the documents with you such as all medical documents, prescriptions, visa documents, CoE and other important ones which you might need. Please make sure to visit the Australian Customs Website to find out more information on what you can and cannot bring.

Get Situated

Once you have landed, travel to your chosen accommodation using transportation options given in the Student Handbook or of your choice through research on the internet and relax.

Stock Up On Supplies

It is important to know your surroundings and find out where you can find groceries, and know the nearest hospitals for emergency services.

Buy Australian SIM-card

Most of Canberra has access to Wi-Fi. Getting a mobile phone with a SIM card or just a SIM card should be set up on top of your priority list. You can search online which network you want to connect to and make sure to read the contracts.

Make New Friends

Moving to another country can be quite stressful and lonely sometimes, as you won’t know everyone. but don’t worry, this changes pretty quickly when you get o know the surroundings and you can also take the advantage of induction to make your first friend in Australia.

Open A Bank Account

It is important to manage and plan how you want to spend the money. Opening a bank account is the first step in that. To open a bank account, you need proof of enrolment, photo I.D, proof of Australian Address, and Australian Tax File Number. You can also exchange currencies at bank branches.

Get Familiar with Streets

Once you are here, familiarize yourself with the streets and roads of Australia, you may also want to familiarize yourself with Australian Driving Rules, if you are driving here on International License.
